Probably not a huge necessity, but a cute and easy project I put together in one afternoon. The diaper bag that we got from Noah's family came with a plain black changing pad, but the washing instructions said "spot clean or hand wash only" - not something I want to do when poop is involved! The one I made is machine washable - cotton on one side, flannel on the other, with a thin layer of cotton batting in the middle. It's almost too cute to use for it's intended purpose!
And since I loved the stripey polka dots so much, I made a bib with some of the leftover scraps. Maybe I'll be lucky enough to get some cute pictures of baby wearing it before it's covered in food stains...
