St. Nicholas Day is one of my favorite holiday traditions from childhood. My siblings and I loved putting our boots out the night before, and finding them the next morning filled with goodies. Last night Abe and I put his shoes under the tree...
We just put our tree up so he was immediately drawn to it this morning, and quickly discovered the treats hidden in his shoes.
St. Nick brought him a couple cinnamon graham crackers, a jar of applesauce, a few gummy bears, and a camel for his manger (it was too big to fit in our advent boxes).
He basically ate his treats for breakfast which is why he didn't get a bunch of candy, but he sure loved those gummy bears....
How cute! So glad to hear that someone else is celebrating St. Nicholas Day because they did so as a child and are now passing that on to their children as well.
